Some people I've talked to from other classes are totally surprised we're having a 15 year reunion. I guess it's more common to only do it every decade; but I can't imagine not having one every five! Too much has changed since our last reunion. Some graduates didn't come to the 10 year, and some might not be able to make it to this one so they can at least plan on the 20 year. My biased opinion is that we are collectively one of the best graduating classes that Taylorsville High has ever known. We are deserving of a forum to reconnect and remember each other before we had big titles, labels, or responsibilities; even if it is only for one evening. To make that happen, it takes quite an effort.
If you know someone, or are that someone who can satisfy one of the areas we are in need of, please speak up! Of course, because we are volunteers, we have limited monetary reserves. So, if you can help us get what we need for free, or close to it, that's best on the budget. We are in search of the following...
Accountant (help us set up a non-profit so this is all legal)
2 Photographers (one capturing the evening by roaming, and the other has a back drop for groups)
Videographer
Sound system
Decorator
Decoration supplier
Website person (make us a cool website)
Entertainer (preferably music, appx 4-5 songs)
Marketing specialist
Printing specialist- Misti Bakker is likely going to fill this void (thank you)!
Silent Auction items/services
Someone willing to make a cool slideshow
For Saturday
Photographer
6-8 volunteers to run the popcorn, cotton candy, and snow cone stands
10-12 volunteers to run the games (ie bean bag throw, ring toss, three-legged races)
2-4 Bounce houses or the likes
popcorn machine
cotton candy machine (or anything carnival-ish)
snow cone machine
5-7 Easy-up canopies or other shade sources
2 face painter (and paints)
2 balloon artist (and balloons)
